Why it's Fair
The coupon price of $27.99 runs to early November, against a usual $34.99 shelf price. The record shows $24.99 five separate times, including Nov 10 to Dec 5 in 2024, and a brief $26.24 Bauer-wide coupon on Oct 23 to 25. Last year the Black Friday sale only got it to $27.99, which is today's price, and the odds of a clearly better sale within six weeks are low (8%, none in the past year). So it's not a steal, and waiting probably won't beat it by much.
Next sale, maybe: Late November, around $28. A long shot.
