Patience is a power tool.
Hard to Wait tracks Harbor Freight's prices and coupons, learns when each tool tends to go on sale, and stamps it Buy, Wait or Fair. It's free, and built by the people who use it: the extension and the app read Harbor Freight's prices as you shop.
That page is for people with the extension or the app. With the extension, open its popup's "Open Hard to Wait" to sign in here. With the app, sign in with a code from its Settings.
On your phone? Hard to Wait is an app there.
The extension runs in Chrome, Brave and Edge on a computer. On a phone, Hard to Wait is a free app: scan the QR code on any Harbor Freight shelf tag and get the call, the price history, the coupons, and what your store charges.
The app is coming soon for Android and iPhone. Check back here.
- Free, every item, every call. It shares the shelf prices you scan and the Harbor Freight pages you open in it, nothing about you.
- Rather not share? The private version is $9.99, once.
- Supporters pay $5.99 a year for instant price alerts and no limit on watched items. That covers the server.
- Already use the extension? Its popup gives you a code that links the app to your account.
How you get in
- Add the extension. You're in right away: open it and hit "Open Hard to Wait" to sign in here.
- Shop harborfreight.com like you normally do. The extension writes down the prices and coupons the pages show you. Nothing else. That's what keeps the prices here fresh, for you and everyone else.
What it does on Harbor Freight's pages
- A Buy, Wait or Fair stamp on every product while you browse.
- A tag on each product page with its price history, the lowest it's been, when the next sale usually lands, and every coupon that applies, pictures included.
- And this whole website: every item, search, and price alerts. Send 50 pages in 30 days and alerts go out the moment a price gets there, with no limit on how many items you watch.
- A running count of the pages you've sent and a rank to go with it. The ranks are not prestigious.
What it sends
Item numbers, names, prices and coupons from Harbor Freight's product and category pages, plus which page they came from. Also your selected store's number and the prices HF shows for it, unless you switch that off in the popup. Never your cart, account, orders, search history, or anything from any other site. The privacy policy has the details.
