$11.99 is a regular price hike from the usual $8.99, with no sales or coupons ever in its record.
$11.99 is 33% over its usual $8.99, up since Oct 17. Nothing in its record says when, or if, it comes back down.
Why it's Fair
This kit sat at $8.99 for most of four years, dipped to $7.99 from Dec 2024 to Aug 2025, then jumped to $11.99 on Oct 17. Those were all regular price changes: no sale or coupon shows up in 1,611 days, and nothing is announced. The price did come back down after its earlier move, but only once, so that's a hint and not a pattern. At 33% over its usual price it isn't a good buy, but I can't point to a reason to wait either.
